Bicycle Workshop Kisozi Uganda

The village Kisozi is far from an urban surrounding and therefore the availability of bicycles and bicycle spares is scarce. But in the rural surroundings of Kisozi a bicycle is a popular means of transport. It is relatively cheap and improves the mobility. To provide better access to bicycles and bicycle spares a bicycle shop has been set up. Outside the shop bicycles are also repaired and modified/enforced and bicycle add-ons are produced such as extended carriers, etc.

• Target group: (Potential) bicycle users
• Period: Since 2010
• Supported by: private donors
• Co-financers: Impulsis
• Local partner organisation: HAU
